Welcome to Westside Pediatric Dentistry, a state-of-the-art dental facility that is dedicated to shaping how children experience dental care. Our brand new practice in Cincinnati, which opened its doors in 2023, is run by our highly trained and experienced pediatric dentist, Dr. Petr Vaughan.

Meet Dr. Petr Vaughan
Dr. Petr Vaughan was born and raised in Lebanon, OH. He graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honors society. Following dental school, he was thrilled to return back home to the complete his residency in pediatric dentistry at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Vaughan is married to his amazing wife Mary Margaret, a general dentist in Delhi, who he met in dental school at Ohio State. Last summer they doubled their family size with two adorable twin boys. Outside of the dental office, Dr. Vaughan enjoys traveling, exercising, and doing anything that involves the outdoors. He played soccer in college and loves supporting FC Cincinnati. Dr. Vaughan was drawn to pediatric dentistry because of the individual challenges and victories that are unique to each child and their experience. He enjoys developing long lasting relationships with the families he serves.

If your child has a cavity or other dental issue, restorative treatments can help address the problem. We offer fillings, pulp therapy, dental crowns, extractions, and pulpotomies to help restore your child’s teeth and maintain their natural state.

Sealants are a preventive measure to help protect your child’s teeth from decay in hard-to-clean areas. They are a thin protective coating that is applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth, where decay often occurs.
